What You Can Do

  • /break marks the newest in-flight tool call broken and keeps the turn alive.
  • /break {message} breaks the call and gives the model your correction.
  • /again retries the last call; /again {hint} retries with a tweak.
  • /break-status lists what is currently in flight.
  • Use the desktop strip (Break, Message, Again, elapsed time, per-tool controls) or mod+shift+b.

Previously published as hermes-break. The commands stay compatible.

Install

Requires Hermes Agent 0.21.0 or newer.

Enable Intelligent Tool Break under Capabilities → Plugins.

Requirements / Limits

This edition never kills processes. A broken call is relabelled through tool-call hooks, and in-process hangs that never return still need a hard abort. If the app status surface is what you watch, this edition does not decorate it; controls live in the strip above the composer.
