Your house and family chore board as Hermes tools, through ChorePilot's own MCP server on this machine, the LAN or Tailscale. Runs appliances (lights, climate, dishwasher/washer/dryer, sprinklers, vacuum and more via Home Assistant, Home Connect, MQTT or a simulator) and keeps a rotating chore board that devices verify. ChorePilot's policy decides every call: water/heat actions wait for the person's own yes in Telegram or the ChorePilot dashboard, kids' requests go to a parent's approval queue, and unlocking, opening the garage and disarming are never available to an agent. Bundles the chorepilot:household skill.

ChorePilot plugin for Hermes Agent

Hermes Agent tools for a ChorePilot house: device status, lights, climate, vacuum, blinds, appliances and the household chore board.

chorepilot mcp token add <person> --client hermes          # on the ChorePilot machine
hermes plugins install WestWaters/ChorePilot/hermes/chorepilot --enable

The plugin is a thin, stdlib-only client of ChorePilot's MCP server (chorepilot run or chorepilot mcp --http). ChorePilot decides everything from the token's person: water/heat actions wait for that person's yes in Telegram or the dashboard, a kid's token queues requests for a parent, unlocking is never available.

Disclosure: each tool call is one HTTP request to CHOREPILOT_URL with the bearer token in CHOREPILOT_TOKEN. No other network calls, no files read outside the plugin, no background processes, no telemetry. Plain http:// is refused unless the address is this machine or a private network.
